Class FullscreenDemo

java.lang.Object
eu.svjatoslav.aukio.e3d.examples.fullscreen_demo.FullscreenDemo

public class FullscreenDemo extends Object
Fullscreen demo showcasing the FSEM (Fullscreen Exclusive Mode) support.

Launches in fullscreen mode by default and displays a warp starfield — 2000 glowing points flying past the camera, creating a "warp speed" effect. This scene is designed to reward a borderless wide screen with peripheral stars only visible in fullscreen.

A persistent on-screen hint shows the F11 toggle shortcut and updates its text based on the current fullscreen state.

Press F11 at any time to toggle between fullscreen and windowed modes.

  • Method Details

    • main

      public static void main(String[] args)
      Entry point for the fullscreen demo.
      Parameters:
      args - command line arguments (ignored)
    • buildScene

      public static void buildScene(eu.svjatoslav.aukio.e3d.renderer.raster.ShapeCollection shapes, eu.svjatoslav.aukio.e3d.renderer.raster.lighting.LightingManager lighting, eu.svjatoslav.aukio.e3d.geometry.Camera camera)
      Builds the demo scene: the warp starfield plus the F11 hint overlay, camera at the origin looking toward +Z. Called by both main(String[]) (via buildStarfield(ShapeCollection, Camera)) and the golden-image harness — must stay deterministic (no time, no unseeded randomness).
      Parameters:
      shapes - scene to add shapes to
      lighting - lighting to configure (unused here)
      camera - camera to position
